The Buzz… Busy Bees Learning Center
Expect some big things coming from BBLC this May. As we prepare to go into the summer season we are busy planning a Mother’s Day Lunch, Daddy’s Night, Pre-school graduation, and an appearance in the Sandston Memorial Day Parade. Whew…we are busy!
Busy Bees is also preparing for the summer. Our pre-school program will continue into the summer. We have lots of activities and field-trips planned this summer. Each week will have a planned theme, water play, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus. We are planning a pilot program for ages 6-12 for the summer. We are also registering for the fall for pre-school. BBLC will expand to a third classroom this fall to serve our growing program. We are excited about the growth of this ministry and the impact on the Sandston Community. We are so thankful for the support of SBC for countless donations and prayers that the congregation has offered. Please continue to pray for this ministry.

PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE NEWS: It is that time of year we begin planning for childcare for our Worship preschool. If you currently have a position and want to continue with that age, that service, that week of the month please let E'Beth Watts know as soon as possible. If you are interested in this Ministry and are not currently serving, there is a place for you. Please look for the sign up sheet outside of the Church office for the 2013-2014 year. The year runs from September through August. Volunteers work with children ages new born through Kindergarten during Worship services (8:15-9:30 or 10:15-11:30) on one (or more) Sundays a month. It takes about 60 people to make this Ministry work. PLEASE prayerfully consider tithing an hour of your time a month to serve the Lord and your Church family.
