Ever had one of those days? How about one of those weeks? Everything is not going as planned and you cannot see the end in sight? It happens to all of us and it is not easy to see the way out. David said to Gad (his seer), "I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands." 1 Chronicles 21:13
How many times do we feel like David? How often are we in distress and needing a place to turn? Fall into the hands of the Lord and let Him comfort and take care of you. He can complete all your needs and take your cares and stress away. David had made mistakes and his land and people were suffering and he turned to God and asked for forgiveness and to spare his people. He bowed down and asked God for His great mercy.
So my prayer for you is that you stop and take the time in the middle of the chaos and noise and turn your stress and your heart over to God and let Him handle it. Fall into his mercy and thank Him for it with your praise. Remember to be “Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness”. Colossians 2:7
Be thankful for His love, guidance, and direction as you head into this season of family and friends. Take the time to talk with Him and let Him take your cares away. Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving.
In His service,
