Attention GA’s - Mark Your Calendars because “Jammin for Jammies” is coming! It will be on Friday, May 16 from 6 to 8 pm. This is a fun missions opportunity where you can come dressed in your jammies and join us for pizza, games, and fun. Most importantly, we ask that you bring a pair of new pajamas and/or a new book to give to a child (ages birth-18) who does not have even one pair of pajamas or a book to read at night. Please let your GA leader know if you will be there by May 14th.
Friendly Club – The Friendly Club meets this Thursday morning starting at 10:30 in the Bosher-Gray building. Bring a bag lunch with you and plan to have to great time playing games together. See you there!
Thank You – Mary Fowler expresses her sincere thank to the members of Sandston Baptist Church for all their love and support following the death of her husband.
This Month – We are collecting canned beef stew for Eastern Henrico County FISH this month. Donations can be placed in the box next to the church office.
Work Day – The annual work day at Camp Alkulana will be on Saturday, May 17. Plans are to depart at 7 am and return at 8 pm. Bring a sack lunch. Water will be provided and we will stop by dinner on the way home. There is a sign up sheet for this event next to the church office.
Graduates – We would like to include the names of all our graduates in the June newsletter and also on Youth Sunday, June 1. Please contact the church office and let us know if someone in your family is graduating this year. We will need the student’s name and school graduating from.
Ukrop’s Golden Receipts – The deadline to turn in your Ukrop’s Golden Gift receipt is Sunday, June 8.
