Preschool Teacher/Worker Training: On Saturday, March 20th, from 10 – 11:30am, all adults who work in Preschool Sunday School and Extended Session are invited to attend a training and appreciation breakfast just for you! We all know and recognize the importance of teaching our youngest children about God’s love while keeping them actively engaged in age appropriate activities and giving parents of preschoolers the opportunity to worship and study God’s Word. The purpose of the training is to discuss our curriculum, focus on good teaching practices, share ideas, learn about safety and emergency procedures, and support one another as we work with God’s precious children. YOUTH INFO – DiscipleNow is next weekend. Please check with your Sunday School leader to see ways your class can help make it a success. And don’t forget to check out our prayers board in the foyer Grab a name card and stick it somewhere you’ll see it this week to help you remember to pray for that person as they prepare for this spiritual and fun retreat.
We’ve almost reached our fundraising goal. This is the last week to purchase STOCK in your youth. Please stop by our table outside the sanctuary and invest in the future of our youth.
ATTENTION MEN – The monthly Brotherhood meeting is this Thursday night starting with dinner at 6 p.m. Please sign up today if you plan to attend.
FISH – This month we are collecting cold cereal for Eastern Henrico County FISH.
DINNER – Our menu this week includes ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans. Please make your reservation by noon on Monday.
EASTER LILIES – Orders for Easter lilies are due now. Cost is $12.25 each. The deadline to order is Sunday, March 15.
SOFTBALL NEWS – If you are interested in playing softball this spring, please contact Ron Harper ASAP (512-9829)
BOWLING BENEFIT – On Saturday, March 20th, Eastern Henrico FISH will hold its Annual Benefit Bowling Tournament at Bowl America Eastern on Williamsburg Road. You can have a team or sponsor one for a penny a pin. See the Community Board across from the church office for more information.

Barbara Thornton would like to thank all of the church family for the prayers, cards, get-well wishes and tokens of love shown by her church during her long illness. She is home now and would appreciate company. She is quite lonesome for her church family she since is not able to get out as much as she used to. Please feel free to give her a call.
Sylvia Hughes expresses her appreciation to everyone for the many cards, calls, prayers and other expressions of concern following her surgery.
